Jennifer Aniston to guest star on Dirt

Former Friends co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox reunite on the small screen for the season finale of Cox's new show, Dirt. F/X announced yesterday that Aniston will play a character named Tina Harrod, the editor of a magazine that rivals Lucy Spiller's (Cox's) DirtNow gossip mag. Aniston's role marks her first return to television since Friends went off the air in 2004. Aniston appears on the season finale, which airs Tuesday, March 27th.

So far, Dirt has averaged about 3 million viewers for its first two episodes. Do you think Aniston's appearance brings in more viewers?

I'd say so. I like Dirt, and I'd love to see how bitchy Anniston can be. Cox is definitely bringing it.

By the way, is 3 million 'bad' for a new cable series?

Wouldn't it have been so much better if Jen played a big-lipped starlet that stole someone else's husband, but for reasons other than love, and then those reasons were found out and they were incredible nefarious (like, she was planning on offing him so that her and her brother could do weird things to the corpse?).

Yeah, I don't like Angelina at all. I guess you got that.
